be grateful

It has been said, the greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times...

Unfortunately, many of the things we desire are costly. However, if you think about it, the things that really satisfy us and make us feel full are totally free – love, laughter, relationships, and working on our passions. Do not fall into the silly pit of believing that with a slimmer figure, a higher salary, a boyfriend, a faster car, or a bigger house, you will be happier. The world is full of things and people that will serve as daily reminders that you don’t have the best of the best. Someone will always be prettier, healthier, skinnier and richer, but they'll never be you. The opposite is also true. It's important to live the life you’ve been blessed with, and be thankful

We all have struggles, and there are times when I would love to go shopping and forget about said struggles, but lets face it, shoes don't cure cancer and jeans are not fulfilling- relationships are. Relationships with ourselves and others. For it's the struggles that create these relationship bonds, make us individuals, connect us to our spiritual begins, and light the path of our soul-mission.

Protect your goddess heart from things and people that try to convince you that your life is not good enough.  There will always be bigger, faster, stronger, or shinier – but you’ll never be satisfied with more until you’re fulfilled with what you have now! If you focus on what you don't have, that's how it will remain. You are able to manifest your destiny. Be grateful for the things you have and they will stay in abundance.

Be conscious and grateful for the progress you've made. Don’t worry about what others are doing better than you. Focus on winning and not on winners. Success is a battle between you and yourself, jealousy is the art of counting someone else’s blessings, and as I've said before, comparison is the thief of joy.

You may not understand everything the moment it happens, and life can be really brutal.  It's important to reflect back on those negative "curveballs" thrown at you. You’ll often see that eventually it was those curveballs that led you to a better place, person, state of mind, or situation.  So smile! Be grateful for those less than fortunate circumstances and note the growth you've made.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life.  Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.  Instead of thinking about what you don't have, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing. The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves. Live in the moment and be grateful!

The grass is not greener on the other side- it's greener where you water it.
